AILF members will have an opportunity to become acquainted with the Baha’i tradition in depth. From its origins in Persia to its present global impact, our host speakers will tell the story.
The Planned Program A mixture of formal speaker presentations and informal question and answer dialogues will guide us through the stories of the Baha’i tradition. History and principles of the tradition will be central to the presentation. The ways in which Baha’i has succeeded as a significant but minority tradition in cultures ranging from the West to the East is one of the unique aspects of both the history and the current world impact of this tradition. Featured Keynote Speakers Andrea Perkins: Andrea serves on the Baha’i Southeastern Regional Council, in Spiritual Assemblies, and as a National Convention delegate. Professionally, she serves as Assistant Director of Nutrition for Forsyth County Schools Harold Edwards: Harold has served the Baha’i Faith internationally in Japan, Germany, India and China and domestically through Spiritual Assemblies and National Conventions.
