Rev. Angela Harrington RiceAngela Harrington Rice is Senior Executive Producer for Atlanta Interfaith Broadcasters, Inc. where she has served in many editorial and management capacities. Over her 25 year career in television broadcasting she has created, produced and written television series, award winning documentaries and many television specials.
In 2008 she was awarded an Emmy for “World Pilgrims: A Sacred Journey to Turkey,” a documentary that chronicled the pilgrimage of Jews, Christians and Muslims to Turkey. Since 1989, she has produced and hosted the award winning television show “A Woman’s Place,” which focuses on the concerns, needs and accomplishments of women. Over her 25 years of working in interfaith media, Angela has used her position to create positive exchanges between persons of different faiths and ethnicities. Angela is also an ordained Teacher and Minister and currently serves as Sr. Associate Minister and the Dean of the Barbara King School of Ministry at Hillside International Truth Center in Atlanta, Georgia where Rev. Dr. Barbara King is the founder and spiritual leader. Angela earned a B.A. degree in Mass Communications from Clark College, a M.A. degree in African and African-American Studies from Clark Atlanta University. Angela contributes to the Atlanta community through her work with many community service organizations. She lives in Fayetteville, GA with her husband of 26 years, Carlos Rice. Angela enjoys camping, reading, writing, speaking, traveling and spending time with friends and family. |
