Jane CohenJane Cohen was born and raised in NYC. She received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Queens College of CUNY, and a master’s degree in Library Science from Columbia University. She had a satisfying career in health science library administration in the New York area, before moving to Dallas, Texas, where she started a business "Jane Can Do It!" helping people organize their home and work environments.
Upon moving to Atlanta, Ms. Cohen and her husband Mark joined Temple Sinai, where she has been an active member. Ms. Cohen has been on their board, and has been a leader in developing adult education programs and programs for women. Trained as a lay service leader, she has lead Shabbat morning services and private Shiva (memorial) services for congregants. She created an introduction to Judaism program to help Jews and non-Jews understand the theology and traditions of this faith. Ms. Cohen has participated in interfaith educational programs, has traveled to Turkey with the World Pilgrims, and has completed ICI’s interfaith immersion weekend. |
